Feet Forwards (FF) Motorcycles

New for 2018.

First, I'd like to offer some links to information on the FF concept, and suggest they be read before continuing with this page.  I do not intend to cover a wide range of information that has been written about elsewhere, though no doubt there will be a certain amount of duplication needed to facilitate my comments.
Things I probably will devote little attention to:  scooters, cruisers, choppers, anime/manga vehicles.  I'll leave those to people who have more interest in or knowledge of them.

I have collected many photos of FFs and articles/comments about them over the years.  As is my practice I will try to give credit where I know it, but a lot of the things found on the Internet are pretty anonymous.  There is a lot of information that to me falls into the category of "common knowledge about FFs" which won't be credited, but that may only be "common" to the people who already have a lot of interest in the subject.  If you read all the material linked above you may find it seems pretty much "common knowledge" to you too.

FF Taxonomy

I can see different ways to divide the various types of FF.  For example, touring vs sports/racing, single rider vs rider plus pillion (this may be a subclass of touring vs sports), telefork vs Funny Front End (FFE) steering/suspension, front engine vs rear engine, commercial vs DIY, internal combustion engine vs electric power, fully enclosed vs "open" seating, and so on and so forth.
